Post Mother's Day

Mother's Day weekend has come to a close. It was a successful one for sure. Elliott's parents, brother, sister, and grandparents came to Austin for the day and fun was had by all.

I have been diving head first into my childbirth educator coursework. I am enjoying it and am starting to dip into the Austin birthing community. I have also been reading a few of Ina May Gaskin's books. Every opportunity I get to read them I do because I cannot seem to get enough on the subject of natural childbirth.

You can see Elliott in the beginning, middle and end.

I have not updated since I was 29 weeks pregnant. Obviously a lot has happened since. For one, I gave birth to Ani and we moved to Austin. Elliott was offered a job with a Drupal shop here in Austin about four days before my water broke. Oh yeah, maybe I should mention my birth story with Ani.
